Mother’s Day anthology

Have just now finished writing a piece to be included in an anthology which will be released in time for Mother’s Day next year, the royalties going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. I was extremely chuffed to be invited, because it’s a pretty stellar lineup who have already said yes to contributing.

I wrote about the death of Alexander the Hamster in Denmark, which is pretty much the final tale in the book form of Keep Calm and Carry Vegemite. Because nothing says Mother’s Day, or charity more than the demise of an innocent hamster and our family’s subsequent mad dash around the streets of Copenhagen looking for a replacement.

Right?

Right???!!!

Alexander 2.0, the newer, fatter, whiter version of the original Alexander…

Indeed! Death, rodents & Mother’s Day – I’ve lost count of the hallmark cards with these 3 elements 😃. Can’t wait for the book! S xx
